British Air Force Typhoon fighter aircraft have conducted a mission with French aircraft in a combined operation on an hidden munitions depot in Syrian territory operated by the Daesh militant organization, per a report from the UK's MoD.
The location, located using surveillance, was assessed as housing weapons and explosive materials, the release indicated, and was situated in mountainous terrain just north of Palmyra in central Syria.
"Our fighter planes utilized laser-guided Paveway IV weapons to target a several approach shafts providing entry to the facility... preliminary assessments suggest the strike was effective," the MoD said.

The Typhoon fighters were backed up by a Voyager tanker plane.
